John Cleese, also known as Q in the old James Bond movies, is here in a funny commercial for Schweppes. Talking about how violence shouldn’t be used in a family-commercial for Schweppes, while characters known from the James Bond movies try to kill. None of them succeed, though. They all end up hurting themselves, while John Cleese doesn’t notice anything.
I’m a bit confused. Does James Bond want his Martini with Schweppes Tonic? Anyway, John suggests they should make a less violent Bond. Not that I don’t get the irony, but where would the fun be in that? It would be cool if John actually went back to the movies again as Bond’s deer friend, Q. Anyway, it is still a funny commercial with one of my favourite actors. Watch it and enjoy!
